Executive Flight Training offers insurance approved, Cessna Citation recurrent and initial training to professional pilots. We create an accelerated, thorough, and personalized training scenario based on your Citation experience that meets FAA and insurance company requirements. Your aircraft systems training is accomplished by computer-based learning modules prior to your arrival. The online exam results provide the foundation of your on- location

ground school. We will review what you missed and reinforce the correct answers. Additional training time is dedicated to evolving procedures that include NexGen, RNPs, TAAs, and advanced avionics. Recent accidents, incidents, procedural errors, and mechanical problems are analyzed with ample time for questions and answers. Every in-flight maneuver is thoroughly briefed prior to execution. During the flight training, we will emphasize safety, FAA requirements, and efficiency. The required maneuvers are the same as the initial type rating and are listed in the FAA ACS.  As an FAA PPE in the Citation 500, 510, 525, and 560XL, Successful completion of recurrent training will meet insurance company requirements and result in a 61.58 Pilot-in-command proficiency check that meets FAA requirements.

Douglas Carmody is a former airline Captain with over 30,000 flight hours. He has over 32 years of instructional experience in turbine aircraft. Along with being a contract instructor, he’s also a corporate pilot, a charter pilot, a licensed A & P Mechanic, and author of 15 aviation books and numerous magazine articles.

Bonny Carmody holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Emphasis in Aviation Management with over 30 years in the aviation flight training business. Bonny oversees the company’s finances and conducts payroll.

Caroline Carmody holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature along with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. She has grown up around aviation and officially joined the team after spending two years in the speech pathology field. Caroline specializes in scheduling and enjoys the constant challenges of coordinating pilots, instructors, simulators and airplanes!
